Information about the partner

The institute is the health unit that provides the technical and methodological guidance for the regional public health network, monitors the health of the population in association with environmental, occupational, infectious and lifestyle risk factors. The institute ensure the national surveillance for the communicable and non-communicable diseases to identify community health problem. The institute develops the methodology, tools and indicators for monitoring and evaluating health services and programs public health promotion and health education and ensures the existence of a system information and integrated informatics for public health management. The institute has four national coordination centres (communicable diseases, environmental health, health promotion and statistics) and six regional centres (in Bucharest, Iasi, Cluj, TgMures, Sibiu, Timisoara).

The project will be led by The National Centre For Environmental Health Risk Monitoring, Department of occupational health.
